My Story: From Inline Skating to a Lifelong Fitness Journey
At 18, I was your average student—happy to coast through life with minimal physical effort. That all changed when a friend inspired me to get into inline skating.
The rush of freedom, the wind in my face, and the unexpected physical challenge flipped a switch in me. I started noticing my body change—stronger legs, better stamina—and that sparked something bigger. Soon, I traded my skates for calisthenics, hitting pull-up bars and dip stations both indoors and out in the fresh air.
That was my wake-up call. I decided to chase the strongest, fittest version of myself. Years of trial and error taught me one unbeatable lesson: consistency is king. I’m not the most naturally athletic guy—I’ll admit that—but I’ve cracked the code to sticking with a routine, no matter what. And trust me, the results speak for themselves.
Here’s a snapshot of my progress so far:
Bench press: 70kg x 2 reps
Squat: 80kg x 8 reps
Deadlift: 130kg x 2 reps

- Height: 190cm (6’3”)
- Weight: 80kg (176 lbs)
- Fitness Focus: I blend powerlifting, bodybuilding, and calisthenics for a balanced approach. Cardio’s in the mix too—running outdoors in Latvia’s warmer months or grinding it out on gym equipment when winter hits (and trust me, it gets brutally cold here!).
- Future Goals: I’m working toward a personal trainer certification to turn my passion into a way to help others kickstart their own fitness journeys.
